What is an NRVIA level inspection?
An RV Inspection is similar to a home inspection. It is NOT for your states safety inspection for roadworthiness.
There are 66 – 160+ points of inspection depending on what kind of unit it is and the level of inspection you choose. The inspection is a visual inspection of all the major house components of the RV. Inspecting the life safety systems is a key component of all inspections so that you can keep yourself and your family safe. A recommended addition to the inspection is fluid analysis. This serves as a “blood tests” for the engine, transmission, and generator which can help shine a light on potential mechanical issues.
What doe it mean to be an NRVIA Certified Inspector?
The National Recreational Vehicle Inspectors Association (NRVIA) is a membership organization providing certification and credentials for professional recreational vehicle inspectors across North America. Their mission is to provide credibility through the testing and awarding of credentials to qualified inspectors. NRVIA Inspector members have a strict Code of Ethics and follow specific Standards of Practice to ensure the consumer will receive an inspection of the highest quality and caliber.

What is an RVTAA Registered Technician?
The Recreational Vehicle Technician Association of America (RVTAA) is the certifying body and professional membership organization providing credentials for professional recreational vehicle technicians across North America.
RVTAA certifications are designed to assist the RV industry and the public in identifying those professionals who have demonstrated the knowledge and ability to satisfy established standards in RV diagnostic and repair procedures.
